Question 1

Where do the reviews come from?

Accepted Answer

Public reviews on Google Play and the App Store, or the Shopify App Store for Shopify app ideas. Reviews are kept for 7 days so popular categories load faster.

Question 2

Can the AI make up a complaint?

Accepted Answer

Every quote in a report is matched word for word against the reviews it read. A quote that is not in any review is removed before you see the report.

Question 3

How many reviews does one report read?

Accepted Answer

Usually 100 to 200: the most critical and the most positive reviews of up to 10 competing apps. The exact number is printed at the top of every report.

Question 4

What if nobody has built my idea yet?

Accepted Answer

The free preview tells you first, before you spend a credit. If you still run the full report, it is clearly marked as the model's general knowledge, with no quotes, because there were no reviews to read.

Question 5

Who can see my idea?

Accepted Answer

Only you. Reports live in your account. A public link exists only if you create one, and you can revoke it at any time.

Question 6

Is GoShipOrSkip free?

Accepted Answer

The preview is free and needs no account. Full reports use credits: 3 free with a Google account, then $4.99 for 20 or $14.99 a month for 200. A failed report refunds its credit.
